Juneteenth Freedom Quilt Project - All Ages In-Person

Drop in for a Juneteenth collaborative art project with teaching artist Janique Crenshaw. All are welcome to create a square for a Freedom Quilt honoring Black resilience and the many ways freedom can be imagined. This program is presented in partnership with KinCultivate and the Albany Public Library.

Janique Crenshaw (she/her) is an Oregon-based teaching artist working in watercolor, ink, acrylic, and mixed media. Inspired by art nouveau and music, her work blends intricate detail with bold, expressive color. She is passionate about uplifting Queer, Trans, Black, and Indigenous creative voices through low-barrier art markets and community art events across the Mid-Willamette Valley.
